Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! Have done everything needed for graduation? Visit the Graduation Checklist.
All undergraduate and master candidates are required to attend the College of Education commencement ceremony AND the General Assembly in full regalia. All doctoral candidates are required to attend the General Assembly in full regalia.
NOTE: Be sure to check your student account through ULink to ensure there aren't any outstanding holds, including parking tickets, fines, outstanding unpaid tuition balances, that will prevent you from graduating. You will be allowed to graduate until ALL outstanding holds are cleared.
At the Grad Expo graduates can order personalized graduation announcements, order your cap & gown, order your UL Lafayette class ring, speak with Alumni representatives about a FREE one-year membership to the UL Lafayette Alumni Association, and have your picture taken in a cap & gown by a professional photographer.
Cap and Gown Pick-up
Candidates must pick-up caps and gowns at the Bookstore.
Candidates must clear all holds prior to commencement. If you are unsure whether you currently have a Hold, please check ULink.
NOTE: A hold will prevent you from receiving your diploma and an official transcript until the Hold is cleared.
College of Education Ceremony
During the College of Education commencement ceremony, candidates are conferred and individually recognized on stage. We encourage you to invite your friends and family members to the commencement ceremony. The commencement ceremony will be held in the Cajundome Convention Center, Exhibit Hall A & B.
