Academic Programs
In the College of Education and Human Development at UL Lafayette, we're excited about learning — and we know you are, too. That's why all of our programs incorporate classroom instruction with real-world, hands-on experiences. With that arsenal of knowledge, you are ready to lead in classrooms, in labs, on the field, in clinics, and beyond.
We focus on research for a reason, which includes developing better teaching practices for STEM areas and determining the most effective ways to move and exercise. We're eager to share what we're learning so that you are equipped with the skills you need to be a leading professional in your field, whether you're in curriculum and instruction, foundations and leadership, counseling, or kinesiology.
The College of Education and Human Development at UL Lafayette offers 6 undergraduate degree programs, 8 master's degree programs, and 1 doctoral program. We have approximately 1,500 students in the College of Education and Human Development and graduate approximately 300 students yearly.
In addition, the College of Education and Human Development offers the Certification-Only Program: Alternative Path to Certification and several graduate certificates.
