Kinesiology Internship
You will put time, energy, thought, blood, sweat, and occasionally tears into your internship in kinesiology.
When you enter the working world, nothing is more valuable than the hands-on training you will gain through a kinesiology internship. That's why the School of Kinesiology is dedicated to providing you with an opportunity to engage in a professional, directly supervised, hands-on experience in an environment where you can display, apply, and practice the knowledge and skills you learned in classes and labs.
If you are enrolled in the Exercise Science Pre-Professional Studies, Exercise Science Fitness Studies, Pre-Athletic Training, or Sport Management program in the School of Kinesiology, you will be are required to complete a 3 to 6 credit hour internship during your last semester.
If you are enrolled in the Online Health Promotion and Wellness program in the School of Kinesiology, you are required to complete a 6-credit hour or 9-credit hour internship or capstone project during your last semester.
You will self-select the location where you wish to complete your internship. We highly encourage students to seek internships throughout the state.
