Summer Commencement

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! Have done everything needed for graduation? Visit the Graduation Checklist.

All undergraduate, master candidates, and doctoral candidates are required to attend the Summer Commencement Ceremony in full regalia.

NOTE: Be sure to check your student account through ULink to ensure there aren't any outstanding holds, including parking tickets, fines, outstanding unpaid tuition balances, that will prevent you from graduating. You will be allowed to graduate until ALL outstanding holds are cleared.

Summer Commencement

During the College of Education and Human Development commencement ceremony, candidates are conferred and individually recognized on stage. We encourage you to invite your friends and family members to the commencement ceremony. The Spring 2015 commencement ceremony will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 8 a.m. in the Cajundome. The ceremony will last approximately 2 hours. Immediately following the ceremony a reception will be held in the Mardi Gras Ballroom.

Students from all colleges on the campus at UL Lafayette are recognized at the General Assembly. All doctoral candidates are hooded during the assembly. General assembly will be held at 11 a.m. at the Cajundome. Candidates should arrive at 10:15 a.m. in the Red corner for check-in and line-up. Candidates with a 4.0 cumulative GPA should arrive at 10:15 a.m. in the Blue corner for check-in and line-up.
